How do you tell that a coach purse is authentic ?
I have this purse that i got for my girlfriend but idk if it's really a coach purse or not ! How do you tell ?
There are many ways to distinguish an authentic purse from a fake. First, one person mentioned to look at the tag or the logo. This is not a good indicator. Tags and logos are very easily copied onto knock off items. Counterfeiters have gotten very good at making their goods seem almost perfectly identical to the real thing. It takes a very close examination of the bag to tell if it is real, or fake. Sometimes, the differences are so very obvious that its very simple to tell a fake within seconds. I will provide you with a few links where you can read up on the topic and become knowledgeable in this area. I agree with the vast majority of the points the articles make, so I feel they are reliable guides to spotting fakes vs. authentic Coach bags.
Your best bet is to buy from a full price Coach store, a Coach outlet store, or online at http://www.coach.com. These are the only three place that are guaranteed to provide authentic Coach merchandies. Coach is also sold in some stores like TJ maxx and Marshalls occasionally. But, they have been known to sell fakes there too. Macy's, Nordstrom, and a select few other high end department stores also carry them - and they are real.

Not only Coach, but many other designers items as well. A lot of information is out there and available for you to read. Some have reputable information, others do not. Use discretion.
