DSHS insurance is DRIVING ME CRAZY. Who do I write a letter to?

I work in a children's dentist office and I have never seen MORE people with DSHS insurance who DON'T NEED IT!!!! Kids with this insurance is perfectly fine as long as they NEED IT.. But we have SO MANY people driving up with an escalade, carrying coach purses, dressing in expensive designer clothes AND whip out a DSHS INSURANCE COUPON!!! It's so frusterating because these people are getting free help from tax payers and they HAVE MONEY!!!!!!! I want to write a letter and I'm not sure to write it too?....anybody know?

Your Congress Representative. Funny we have this going on already and they want to put the health care reform out there. I promise your Congressman is aware. I know I have spoken to mine previously over this issue and they do have things in works to change and set guidelines. We as the taxpayers need to encourage each other to speak out to get the point across on the issues out there.

I think that laws should be much stricter for assistance programs.
People should get random drug testing, if they own a vehicle worth more than a cert $$$ amount (lets say $5000) or a home with a mortgage over a certain $$$ amount then they must make enough money to pay their own medical expenses, denied. If someone gave it to them as a gift, sell it. If you don't have a job then you should be required to show proof of attempting to find work (like unemployment) and if you have not found a job within 3 months, required to go to a trade school. They should put an assistance cap like 9 months of assistance.
I'm not saying all people mooch off the system, but we tend to support the people that live life the way they do so they do get assistance. I had assistance when I was pregnant. I didn't apply until I was 6 months along and got nothing but the medical card. I drove an older car that we bought from the junk yard and my dad put a motor in it for me and that is how I got to and from 2 jobs (low pay but it was a start). All of my baby furniture was used, so on and so forth. I dropped the medical card after having for less than 6 months (not because I had insurance, because I don't want to have everyone else support me). I have only applied for assistance 2 times through some very rough times, but even the second time I had for a very short period when I was able to get other insurance through a family member for my child and Medicaid paid 2ndary (which in the end, they paid nothing because everything was covered at 100%). I appreciate the assistance, but once I was able to get on my feet (and it didn't take long). I took jobs that I hated just to do what I needed to so that nobody had to foot my bills for me.
When we take, we shouldn't be proud, we should be embarrassed.
