Fashin question - Matching outfit, help please?
Hi all,
I have trouble deciding on choosing a scarf and jacket that match my outfit. I’ll be wearing a black halter mid-thigh dress and short boots with red sole. I’ll be carrying a khaki Coach op art Julianne purse.
Now, should I be getting a Coach Red Signature Oblong Geranium 45 x 9 inches or Khaki Coach Madison Op Art IKAT Oblong (same design and color as my purse)?
And I also have a black knee length winter coat and a khaki/light brown-ish trench coat.
Please tell me which coat I should be wearing and with which scarf:
1) The trench coat with khaki scarf and the khaki purse (in this case, will the red sole of my shoe be still OK)?
2) The black coat with red scarf and short boots with red soles (in this case, will the khaki purse be still OK)?

I'd wear the black coat with the khaki scarf. The khaki scarf will tie the khaki purse into the otherwise black outfit and yes, the red boot soles are fine. I'm suggesting this combo because the dress is a halter neck which tells me it's more dressy so the black coat would be a better choice.
The alternative is the red scarf with the black coat but I would carry a red bag rather than the khaki one. Either outfit will look terrific and tasteful.
